The advantages of the STIHL RMA 235 are clear to see: It's light weight and easy to handle. Very small gardens are easy to tend with this 14kg lightweight battery lawn mower. The necessary energy is provided by the STIHL AK battery system using high-quality lithium-ion batteries. The motor unit is also equipped with an always-on ECO mode, which together with the flow-optimised blade ensures maximum efficiency when mowing. Using the central cutting height adjustment you can choose from five height settings, with an easy to see scale showing the current setting. The 30L fold-able grass catcher box has also been designed for ease of handling. Simply release and empty in just a few simple steps. Between uses, this lightweight battery-powered lawn mower is easy to transport and folds away neatly, making it the perfect addition to any garden shed. Kit comes with 2 x AK 20 battery and AL 101 charger.

Carrying handle
The STIHL battery-powered lawn mower has a carrying handle integrated into the housing for ease of transport. The handle makes the cordless mower easier to load or return to the upright position. The carrying handle is also suitable as a lashing point, for example for securing the lawn mower with a strap during transport.
Foldable grass catcher box
The innovative grass catcher box is made of plastic and features a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures its optimum filling. Special vanes in the box channel the air towards the ground, and so protect the user and lawn mower alike from dust and dirt that has been thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.
Flow-optimised blades
The flow-optimised blade trims the grass with minimal resistance, only swirling the air as much as absolutely necessary. As a result it consumes minimal battery capacity, which means that the stored energy is sufficient for the largest possible area.
Central cutting height adjustment
The central cutting height adjustment on this STIHL battery-powered lawn mower is spring-loaded making it easy to operate, and has several adjustment levels to obtain the desired cutting height for the lawn. The current height is indicated by a scale. In this way, the grass can always be optimally adapted to the conditions of the lawn surface and the use.
Polymer housing
The housings of the STIHL battery-powered lawn mowers are made of a high-quality polymer material. This extremely lightweight polymer housing combines high resistance and robustness against forces, heat and UV radiation.
Easy-running wheels

Eco mode
Eco mode automatically adapts the speed of the lawn mower motor to the actually required power. As a result, the STIHL battery-powered lawn mower consumes very little energy and can cover a larger area before it needs to be recharged. Eco mode is permanently activated on this particularly efficient model.
